GO-Q Culture – Bangarra’s Bennelong

Bangarra Dance Theatre’s performance of Bennelong stars as this week’s online feature in the Sydney Opera House series, From our House to Yours.  You can watch every wonderful minute of Bennelong from your couch, for free. Bangarra is a great partner of GO, and the beauty and power of the Bangarra dancers in this work will have you spinning round the house with a smile.

If you’re not familiar with the yarn, Bennelong explores the life of one of history’s most iconic Aboriginal figures, Woollarawarre Bennelong, a senior man of the Eora people, who led his community to survive a clash of cultures. Watch it now.

Lost in Space – The Ultimate Iso

No-one does isolation better than an astronaut working in the NASA space station, and watching them living in zero gravity on NASA’s live stream from space will leave you feeling better about being able to at least open a window! The space station orbits the Earth every 90 minutes (that’s a sunset to watch every 45 minutes).  Up in space, the astronauts work on ground-breaking experiments and research projects.  There’s also a NASA website page full of different games and other stuff to keep you entertained.
