We create opportunities for Indigenous young people through the delivery of our holistic Scholarship Program, with a focus on culture and education to help them reach their full potential.
Through GO’s strong business, sporting and arts connections, we can give our students access to jobs, internships, events and unique experiences they would otherwise not have.
The GO Foundation gives Indigenous children and young people the support they need to grow their confidence and reach their full potential. But we rely on donors to fund the GO Program,
- Charlene Davison, GO’s CEO
With their education scholarship children and young people access essential learning resources like laptops, badged school uniforms, internet access, excursions or tutoring. Anything that will help with their studies.
As well as financial help through scholarships, we connect kids with their culture. For some, this is the first time they have learned about and formed a meaningful connection with their culture.
We know from deep experience, if you’re strong in culture, you’re strong on identity. For young Indigenous people, when they strengthen their connection to culture, they strengthen their sense of self, which is key to building confidence.
- Adam Goodes, GO’s Co-Founder
Only with enough funds can we help GO’s students through school and help them connect with their culture. We need your donation, you can help us to support those wonderful children and young people who apply for a GO scholarship.
