Help get Millie to Uni to become a Lawyer

GO-EOY-Millie.jpg

As a GO Student, Millie interviewed Australia’s Governor General, The Hon. Sam Mostyn (also a lawyer) for NITV

It’s never too early, and with a GO education scholarship, students can connect with inspiring Indigenous leaders who help them see what’s possible.

Millie dreams of being a lawyer (and a cheer coach). Through GO, she met Her Excellency The Honourable Sam Mostyn AC, Governor-General of Australia – and realised her dreams could become reality.

A GO Scholarship gives MORE than just education – it builds confidence, connection and leadership.

Your donation helps give Millie the confidence to dream BIG

Millie is like most 10-year-olds, she’s very active. She loves swimming, Oztag, gymnastics, tumbling, cheer and dance. But most of all, she loves being a GO Student.

For the last four years, Millie – a proud Wakka Wakka student, living in Canberra – has received a GO education scholarship because of generous donors like you.

“It feels like you’re special. You’re not just a normal person. You’re Aboriginal, and there’s no other people in my school like me.” - Millie

Through the GO Foundation, Millie has explored Aboriginal cultural experiences, learned traditional dances, worked with local artists and connected with Elders. She’s grown in confidence, excelled at school and become a role model for younger students.

Education is a Gift

The GO Foundation opens doors for Indigenous students

GO can open doors, but it’s each student’s responsibility to walk through. GO gives them the opportunity, but they've got to put in the bigger effort and walk through the door.

- Adam Goodes, GO Foundation Co-Founder

For many young Indigenous children, participating in the GO Program is an opportunity to further explore their Aboriginal heritage.

With your generous support, more Indigenous students like Millie can access this transformative program. When you donate to GO, your gift helps us combines education, culture, and connection to build stronger communities and lifelong success. Please support this Indigenous Education program with a kind donation.

The Gift of Education lasts a lifetime

‘GO’s education scholarships open doors to new experiences, cultural connection and opportunities for growth,’ Michael O’Loughlin, GO Co-Founder.

Through these scholarships, students gain the resources, guidance and networks they need to explore their aspirations and strengthen their sense of identity.

Donate now to provide education scholarships to empower the next generation of Indigenous leaders.

The GO Foundation is an Aboriginal-led organisation, with lived knowledge and experience of how to improve outcomes for First Nations people. It was founded by Sydney Swans legends Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin to provide a supportive network so each child can find success that’s true to themselves.

Now, more than ever, your donation will give life-changing opportunities to our GO students.

All donations to GO are tax deductible.
