The success of GO’s 2026 fundraising campaign would not have been possible without the incredible support of Toyota. For the fourth consecutive year, Toyota generously donated extensive on-field signage, in-stadium media assets and broadcast opportunities across both weekends of the AFL’s Sir Doug Nicholls Round.

This support helped raise more than $430,000 for the GO Foundation. Toyota also partnered with Channel 7 to produce and donate a 60-second broadcast feature, sharing what GO means to our Scholars and Alumni and the impact of the Program with audiences across Australia.
Beyond match day, Toyota also coordinated a matched giving campaign, inviting employees across Toyota Motor Corporation and Toyota Finance Australia to support GO through workplace giving, with Toyota matching donations of up to $1000 per employee.
We’re proud to have Toyota alongside us on this journey and grateful for their continued support and commitment to strengthening the work we do at GO.
Last year, Interflow moved to the next stage of their Reconciliation Action Plan. And to mark this milestone, they collaborated with proud Wadi Wadi artist and GO Alum, Nat Abraham to create a new artwork to reflect this journey.
The artwork was unveiled during a National Reconciliation Week event, where Nat shared the inspiration behind the piece.
From that early idea, the work evolved into a painting called ‘Flowing Four Generations’, capturing the values that sit at the heart of Interflow.
We’re incredibly proud of Nat and the way she continues to share her talent as a GO Alum. We’re also grateful to Interflow for creating space for storytelling and culture through this work, and for the way they continue to back First Nations artists and voices.
Close to 30 primary school Scholars took part in GO’s recent Year 5 and 6 Leadership Day, held at Google HQ on Gadigal land in Sydney. The day brought students together in a space designed for big thinking and collaboration, as they prepare for the transition into high school.
The day gave Scholars the chance to hear directly from Google staff about their career journeys and experiences, opening up ideas about the many different pathways available to them.
Scholars also took part in workshops led by Yanyuwa woman, Naomi Huxley, from Deadly Mentorz, where they spent time exploring cultural artefacts, reflecting on their significance, and discussing the people and values that help shape who they are. They then worked in groups to explore leadership through visual storytelling – with shared themes emerging around being thoughtful, wise, creative, strong, patient, hardworking and caring.
A big thank you to Google for hosting the day and providing space for Scholars to engage with culture, learn more about leadership and connect with each other.
